Top Treatments and valances
Top your windows off with style.
Top treatments and valances can be used over blinds, shades, draperies and sheers. Top treatments can range from gathered, pleated, padded cornices, to swags and cascades with an assortment of styles and colors. If you are unsure what type of top treatment best suits your needs, our decorators can suggest styles that will coordinate with your existing window treatments and complent your room's decor.
Padded Cornices Boards
A popular style of top treatment that can be made to fit any style of décor. They are padded with polyester fiber to create an upholstered look. Matching or coordinating welt of various sizes trim the edges to create a more dramatic effect.
Swag and Cascades
Generally considered a formal top treatment but can also be used to spice up alternative window treatments and blinds. They are usually draped into soft graceful folds with Cascades folding from the top of the valance to create a zigzag effect.
Valances
A name that refers to many soft top treatments that can range from traditional to contemporary . They can be made to mount on boards, rods or rings.
